DGI Adventure 07-20-16 – Building the CEF Portfolio – Activity Summary

MIN went ex-dividend yesterday, so before that happened, I decided to scoop up some shares Monday morning to get in on this month’s distributions.

I mentioned last week that I wanted to buy some more BLW shares to catch that ex-div before a special dividend. Since I’m writing about CEF purchases, I’ll capture that one here too.

CEF Portfolio Tracker and the Total Investable Assets pages back at the mother ship have been updated accordingly.

07-12-16 One (1) purchase made; purchase price includes commission costs.

BLW: 100 shares @ $15.49/share. NAV $16.85 representing an -8.1% discount to NAV. I’ve now invested a total of $3,067.86 out of my target ~$5K.

07-18-16 One (1) purchase made; purchase price includes commission costs.

MIN: 200 shares @ $4.585/share. NAV $4.93 representing a -7.0% discount to NAV. I’ve now invested a total of $2,747.00 out of my target ~$8K.

Portfolio

To date I’ve put $19,003.43 into my CEF portfolio out of a target of ~$65K. My projected annual income is up to $1,442.10 out of the $5,036.22 I’m shooting for.

You know you can search the site for yourself right? Well for the search box impaired you can find more info on what the heck I’m doing with CEFs here.
